Is baar yahi tay kiya hai – Do It Now !!

Is baar ghawon ko dekhna hai
Gaur se
Thoda lambe wakt tak
Kuch faisley
Aur uskey baad hausley
Kahin toh shuruat karni hi hogi
Is baar yahi tay kiya hai

We can’t agree more on this. We salute the courage and patience of India but how long? We need to wake up some day. We need to learn someday that it’s not just about patience, it’s also about battle. Let us not become a victim of ongoing tolerance. Let’s not sing the old song of “Ahimsha”. Slowly and steadily we are getting used to. Each and every attack has compelled us to go on back foot, to become more defensive. Let’s shake our soul, our mind and our body. Let’s understand the simple thing, “we can’t avoid confrontation”. We need to face it, challenge it, and do it proactively before it’s too late.

War is MUST. It’s not just this time. History has taught us this many times that the war is must. It’s must to survive, to protect sovereignty. Stop making noises. Come out of your caves and uproar, and uproar to the extent that it reaches to each and every corner of the world. From thousands of years we have taught the lessons of peace and tranquility to entire world. Now it’s time to teach other proficiency. Let the world see the power of India. Let the world feel the anger of India.

We know, war is not a solution but it surely demonstrates our will to fight against this heinous mentality. It’s a way to destroy our enemies. This destruction is must so that the world can live in peace. There’s a saying in Sanskrit, “Ati Sarvatra Varjayet”, which means “excess of anything is bad”. So, the excess of our tolerance is also bad, the excess of our patience is also bad. Let’s not cross the “ati” here. Let’s be proactive in deciding our own fate. Let’s make sure that nobody can dare to challenge India. Let’s teach a lesson of confrontation. Let’s teach how to battle and how to win a war. We did it in Kargil. We won the toughest battle the word had ever seen. Now it’s time to do it again. We have different circumstances and we might need to fight on different soil. Let’s take it as a challenge. Don’t waste time in arguing when there’s nobody to care your argument. Let the weapons speak and most important DO IT NOW.

I completely agree with you. Let’s keep “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Mera Bharat Mahan Hein” to a side for some time as this is the right time for “KARENGE YA MARENGE” …. for our own MOTHERLAND ….

It’s high time that our power of resilience be utilized to clear out these evil forces, instead of being exploited time and again in the name of tolerance. In this regard, I put forward my support to this power and willingness to DO SOMETHING. With hopes and determination of having a SAFE and SECURE India, “JAI HIND ”

I agree with this 100%. We can’t have 20th century solutions for 21st century problems. We cannot go by “Ahinsa” as now it is the high time. Enough of tolerance and enough of word games and bilateral talks. These are not going to help. I think all Indians should now stand and speak out loud in one voice “We need peace” and for that if we need to do war, we must do it now. Are our missiles, weapons, tanks only for republic day parade? No, not at all. We need to use them now.

Everybody is talking about many do-it-now’s and many wars. How many of all the people who are writing/reading or commenting blogs will go to the battle field???? When the army men and the commandos were fighting there with the terrorists, how many of us had gone there??? No, we were sitting in our houses and sipping our coffee while watching the Live telecast on TV. What we did the most was just clapping for all the commandos who succeeded. Yeah, they need moral support and they even need pat on their backs. I am not against “teacing a lesson to our enemies”,they are not just our enemies, they are the enemies of the whole human society, but is WAR, the only solution left???

Will we take the responsibility of all those army men who will die because of this war??? Will we take the responsibility of all those innocents who will die???

We talk, we debate, we write blogs about “war”… as simply as about a new movie which got released.

I am sorry… you may call me a coward… may be I don’t have that much insight about the “war-is-must” talk, but I do NOT support the war.

  7. I appreciate your views and we all know that nobody wants WAR. At least we Indians can never think of it. We have tolerance, patience. We teach the lesson of peace and brotherhood to entire world.

BUT, do you have any other solution to this problem? Why there’s no attack on US after 9/11 and why India has hundreds of attacks. You are talking about army men dying in the WAR. Are they not dying in terrorist attacks. Entire India is living in fear. When we leave our house in the morning, we don’t know whether we’ll return safely or NOT. Till what time we should live like this?

You said, who will go on border to fight. I guess you should have watched the parade at Taj yesterday. Everybody was saying we should better fight and die in stead of dying with the guns of these cowards, terrorists. And if you ask me, I would be more than happy to go for WAR if there’s no option left. And i can see there’s no option left NOW.

I hate debating on whether there should be any war or not. You are right on your grounds and I am right on my grounds. What I know is that, if it is decided to have a war then I won’t atleast debate on it.

Just one link which I thought that I should share with everyone.

Snigdha, I do understand your concerns. But you can’t expect the common man to go and fight the terrorists like NSGs and Marcos. It’s completely irrational to expect the common countrymen to have moved out of their houses and entered the Taj and the Oberoi with guns in hand. That’s a loose statement only having emotions but no rationality.

Coming to the responsibilities of a common man, I would strongly support your concern that we need to understand our responsibilities too. What I expect from a common man is that he should understand that he is also a part of the system. So if there is anything wrong with the system, the citizens are also equally responsible. How many times have you seen a person not complaining while being checked by security personnels in shopping malls, banks, airports, railway stations? How many times have you seen a person following traffic rules? How many times have you seen a person reporting to the police regarding an unclaimed baggage or any suspicious movement at public place? How many times have you seen a person not spitting on the roads of our country? I bet, not even once. I am not keeping myslef isolated from this. Even I am also one of them. But now, we need to open our eyes. We should take this as a wake up call. Today morning when I entered my office campus, my vehicle was checked by security persons and I didn’t utter a single word. I might have opposed this, had I not seen such incidents in past few days.

So I would say, each Indian’s responsibility is to remain united, do their job honestly, let others do their job honestly, change their “take it for granted” and “chalta hai” attitude and raise their voice against terrorism. That’s what I expect from a common man.

Regarding war, I would say that’s the ultimate solution. That’s why I had said “If we need to do war….” in my previous comment. But the time has come, we need to identify what’s the threshold for that ultimate solution? Have we reached a stage that we need to use that ultimate solution? Have we exhausted all other solutions, other than war? I truely feel, yes. And even if the answer is no, we don’t have time to experiment other ways. How many times do we need our nation to be slapped, before we react? I think we have already crossed that threshold.

  10. I think i completely and fully agree with Snigdha. Now tell me something who here has seen war? It is not as simple as “lets go do it”. Trust me I am from Sri Lanka and I have seen enough. Yes too much of everything is bad but is war the right solution? So if you really want to fight – you should suit up tomorrow. Dont wait till your are forced. Go join the army.

The rest of us like Snigdha and myself – well i think we take a lesson out of the movie Mumbai Meri Jaan –

    http://thaneshsadachcharan.com/blog/2008/12/mumbai-meri-jaan-a-movie-for-all/

Wrote about it here … There are ways to fight the roots than just pushing and being pushed back. This will go on for generations. Accept- Find out – Seek Compromise. If you are Hindu fight for Muslim rights in your own place. If you are Muslim fight for your brother in Pakistan. Seek Common Purpose in Life. War and all this tit for tat crap is just going to mean more bombs in India, more people die in Kashmir, more army soldiers die and guess what – the politicans and arm dealers get RICH!!!

Dont mean to laugh but its interesting how so many people die around the world and no one really gives a crap – everyone forgets very soon and it will be back to coffee and programming.

    Cheers,

    -Thanesh

  11. Thanesh, I agree with you WAR is not the right solution. But we should also know that we don’t go to WAR, WAR comes to us.

If you take the example of Sri Lanka, they don’t like war but they are still fighting from more than couple of decades. It affected India as well. Rajiv Gandhi was killed and India lost its most lovable Prime Minister.

People never want WAR but this time its people who wants. Read out few links posted below to understand why it is needed?

A letter from a Bollywood actor who lost his sister and her husband..

If the entire world wants to live in peace they must think of destroying all anti social elements. They all need to think how and where to do this. I found below article stating few facts very nicely.

  12. You need to read about Rajiv Gandhi’s deals with the LTTE and the Indian Peace Keeping Occupation of Sri Lanka …more like IPKF terrorizing Tamil citizens …

  13. The point is simple. In any case, they are ON with the WAR. That’s what I meant when I say “You don’t go to WAR, WAR comes to you”. Sometimes you really can’t avoid it.
